Think of this as the one-stop shop for anything we can disclose publicly and to confirm what we cannot.
Duties
- Assist reporters with any stories involving the Department, including the gathering of arrest reports and other related material
- Write and distribute news releases as deemed necessary
- Oversee all of the Department's social media channels
- Respond to any public inquiries as needed
- Assist in promoting fundraisers and special events
- Webmaster of this site
- Assist the Records Unit with public records requests
The Public Information Officer or a designee is on-call at all times for response to emergency or time-sensitive inquiries.
