The City of Daytona Beach welcomes the return of the Midtown Music Concert Series, beginning next month, bringing the smooth sounds of jazz, R&B, blues, soul and funk to the amphitheater at the recently renovated Daisy Stocking Park, 555 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. Concerts are scheduled monthly, beginning at 7 p.m., and admission is free.

Saturday, Feb. 28: The Love Band
The Love Band is a Daytona Beach-area favorite that originated on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University and is known for high energy, dance-friendly performances.
Saturday, March 28: Fish N Grits
Based in Central Florida, Fish N Grits is a high-energy cover band with a setlist spanning Motown classics through today’s radio hits, designed to keep crowds singing and moving. The group also has recorded releases available on major music platforms.
Saturday, April 25: The Groov
The Groov brings a mix of smooth jazz and R&B—a “soulful sounds” style that has made the band a recurring draw at live-music venues in Northeast Florida.
Saturday, May 30: Jai’ Eagle
Jai’ Eagle (Jonathan Parker) is a Miami native singer/ songwriter whose work blends inspirational themes with contemporary R&B and performance formats ranging from acoustic sets to full-band shows.
Saturday, June 27: Sax Therapyst and The Remedy
Born and raised in DeLand, Florida, Troy Harris, known as “Sax Therapyst,” is a Central Florida saxophonist whose soulful sound blends jazz, R&B, pop, hip-hop, Latin and reggae. He has performed throughout Florida and beyond, sharing the stage with artists including Kenny Lattimore, Jon B., Shaquille O’Neal, Lyfe Jennings and H-Town.
Line dancing will take place at 6:30 p.m., before each concert. Food and drink vendors will be on-site during concerts. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Parking is limited.
