Monday, Jan. 15, as we remember the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we encourage residents to spread kindness and work together for a more equitable future. City offices are closed Monday, Jan. 15, and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 16. In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., there are several community activities in Daytona Beach including:

Meet Donna Gray-Banks, Daytona Beach's Radio new host on JOY Radio 106.3 FM. Each Wednesday, she will feature timely and interesting discussions from noon to 1 p.m. On Wednesday, Jan. 17, her first guest will be previous and longtime host Dr. L. Ronald Durham.
