Flag day with the city of Daytona Beach

Free American flags available on Flag Day

In celebration of the spirit of unity and patriotism, the city is offering free American flags to Daytona Beach residents starting at 4 p.m. Friday, June 14, while supplies last. Simply drive on Auditorium Boulevard, just in front of the Peabody Auditorium, and a team will provide drivers with flags while they remain in their vehicles. Please bring proof of residency.

Additionally, as a part of our commitment to honoring the symbol of our nation, worn and damaged flags will be accepted for respectful disposal. Bring any flags in need of retirement, and we'll take care of them appropriately. This event is made possible by the generous support of Zone 4 City Commissioner Stacy Cantu and the Military Order of the Purple Hearts Volusia County Chapter 316.
