Marine Debris: Effects on Us and Our Environment

Marine Debris: Effects on Us and Our Environment will be presented at 10 a.m. Feb. 21 at the Breakers Environmental Learning Center, 13 S. Ocean Ave.

The free program, titled “Don’t Trash Their Splash!”, will examine the impact of trash on beaches, oceans and marine life. Attendees will learn about the effects of marine debris on the environment and how individuals can help make a difference.

Presenters Noelle-Marie Steele and Celia Maze of Bethune-Cookman University Integrated Environmental Science will lead the discussion. Free admission and parking permits will be provided.
