Drop Savers Poster Contest
About
The City of Daytona Beach cordially invites students to participate in our inaugural "Drop Savers" poster contest. For this inaugural contest, students in grades K-5 are encouraged to create a poster depicting a water conservation idea, in slogan form, drawing form or both. The contest teaches students about the importance of water conservation.
Instructions
Fill out the required form and send the entry form to the email address conservewater@daytonabeach.gov or mail your entry form and poster to:

Required Submission Information:
- Student's name and grade
- School name and teacher's name
- Parent/guardian name and contact information
Division Entries
- Division 1: Kindergarten and First Grade
- Division 2: Second and Third Grade
- Division 3: Fourth and Fifth Grade
Contest Guidelines
- Poster shall be drawn on an 8 ½” x 11” white paper. It could be drawn vertically or horizontally.
- Please attach to the back of the poster the student’s name, grade, school name, teacher’s name. Entry forms are provided, or the information can be written clearly on the back of the poster.
- Each poster must portray a Water Conservation Idea in a slogan, drawing, or both. Students may use crayons, paint, color pencils, or markers. No highlighters, photos, or computer graphics are permitted.
- Students must work on posters individually, otherwise posters will be disqualified.
- Only original artwork will be accepted (no trade-marked or copyrighted materials).

The winner from each division can be submitted to the Florida AWWA statewide competition. Check the box on the entry form if you want your entry to be submitted into the statewide competition to compete at the state level! (Note that no travel is required for the statewide competition. Any questions can be submitted to conservewater@daytonabeach.gov)
