Built in the 1950s, Lift Station 5, located at 647 Shady Place, is one of the city's oldest and most critical lift stations. It re-pumps wastewater from 12 lift stations in southeastern Daytona Beach, including Fairway Estates and Woodcliff Estates, and also serves the City of South Daytona. Upgrading this station is crucial for maintaining efficient wastewater management.
