The Florida Department of Transportation started a resurfacing project on State Road A1A in Daytona Beach on a 3.5-mile stretch from International Speedway Boulevard to Milsap Road. There is a traffic shift between Milsap and University Boulevard. The shift moves traffic toward the medians to provide space for crews working in the outside lanes.
